New Photos of Clubhouse UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Well 2010 is here!  And I’m back at my desk getting ready for the BIG ROAD TRIP to Florida!  I’m SO EXCITED!

As of today, we have 20 couples registered to attend the presentation next Monday, January 11, at 11:00 am at the Golden Corral Restaurant at The Villages in Florida. I am VERY excited to meet everyone.

This morning I had a chance to run out an look at the progress on the Clubhouse~ We’ve got the sliding doors on the indoor resistance pool end of the building installed;  we have the majority of the windows on the Main Building installed, and we have some of the  siding installed.  I think you’ll agree, it’s looking pretty good!

If you have any questions about the clubhouse, about taking a tour, or about our Road Show next Monday, please feel free to email me at blog@seaglassvillage.com, or call me toll-free at 1-866-786-8554.  I look forward to hearing from you!

Have a GREAT week!

Road Trip to FLORIDA~ ( I LOVE MY JOB!)

I’ve been invited to attend our FIRST Cottage Advisors Florida Road Trip Presentation!

Howard Hall, Founder of Cottage Advisors, LLC, and along with Roberta Livingston from Summer Village at the Pond (our sister community) and I will be at the Golden Corral Restaurant, 3950 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, Florida, (across from the Rte. 466 Walmart) at 11 A.M. on Monday, January 11, 2010.  If you happen to be in the area, we’d love for you to join us for an entertaining presentation, followed by a lunch buffet. You’ll get in-person overviews of our seasonal cottage communities and, we hope, some interesting perspectives as to why Seaglass Village in the Moody Village of Wells, Maine or Summer Village at the Pond in Westford, Massachusetts might be the “Perfect Summer Home” for you.

Seaglass Village  is located in the Moody Village section of Wells, Maine, in the heart of Southern Maine’s coastal region, about 1 mile from the ocean and ½ mile from the quaint village of Ogunquit.  It is “Adult-Focused”, and offers a wide range of amenities and activities for adults of all ages.  This is our NEWEST Seasonal Cottage Community, and with the Clubhouse well under construction, we will be the “talk of the Town” come May 1st!  For additional information, see our website at www.seaglassvillage.com.

 Summer Village at the Pond, located on clean, clear Long-Sought-For Pond in Westford, Mass., just 25 miles north of Boston, where approximately 50% of our owners are retirees, is family oriented, with amenities and activities for kids of all ages!  Our owners who are grandparents say they love it, because the grandkids love to visit, but are never “under foot”.  With 159 acres at our disposal, they’re always outdoors playing – just the way we were when we were kids!  You may learn more by going to our website at www.summervillagewestford.com.

 Both Summer Village and Seaglass Village offer all new construction, 2 bedroom cottages, pools, sports courts, fitness centers, activities for all ages, and much more!  We handle winterizing your cottage at the end of each season, and summarizing it in the early spring.  To date, over 200 empty-nesters have invested in our seasonal cottage home concept, finding it the ideal way to simplify and enjoy life to its fullest.

 If you’d like to learn more about “the Perfect Summer Home”, where you can spend up to 6 months “back home” in New England, we hope you’ll join us on Monday, January 11th for lunch at the Golden Corral!!  Reservations are  required – so please make yours today by calling us at 1-877-682-9048.

 Hope to see you there!

Clubhouse progress!

I’m back from 2 weeks vacation, and the Clubhouse looks GREAT!

During my Thanksgiving vacation, I was able to visit family in Fitchburg, Leominster, Brockton, Ashburnham Massachusetts and Greenville, New Hampshire.  I also had 16 at my Thanksgiving Day table.  I went to my 25th class reunion, a York Chamber Commerce Event with some girlfriends I hadn’t seen in months, rearraigned my house, and last but not least I found out that I have a sister that no one in my family knew about that lives in Staten Island!  What a FULL 2-weeks!

The sales office is currently closed for the season while we prepare our 2010 marketing materials, revise our website, and go through the existing database with a fine tooth comb.  Sally is actively working on setting up the Association software rental program, and the Production Team is going full-speed ahead!

If you’d like to visit the property to take a peek at what we have to offer, please feel free to call Sally or I, Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm, and we will set up an appointment to meet you.  Please call toll-free at 1-866-786-8554, or email me at jackie@seaglassvillage.com.

Thanks for checking in!

Last Day of the Regular Sales Season!

Seaglass Village Logo Adult TM Logo. FINAL 6.2009

Today was a bitter sweet day for me.  Today at 4:00 we officially closed the Sales Office to walk-in traffic until Mid-February 2010.

Upon reflection of this sales season~ I have so many things to be thankful for:

Since Memorial Day- just about 20% of our entire build out has either closed or gone under contract (What other property in the COUNTRY can say THAT?);

Our Clubhouse construction is well underway - and we will be having a Grand Opening celebration early in the 2010 Season ;

We have lots of construction to keep our crews busy over the winter months;

Our Production Crew is the BEST in the Seacoast;

I am on vacation for the next 2 weeks :) ; and last but not least

I have a wonderful team, (especially Sally and Carol) who are my left and right hand, and are a big, big part of the success of this Development. I LOVE MY JOB! (don’t you just get sick of me saying that?)

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions on what I can post to this blog, please email me at blog@seaglassvillage.com.  Or if you’d like to discuss becoming a future owner   please email me at jackie@seaglassvillage.com, or call us toll-free at 1-866-786-8554.

Happy Thanksgiving to ALL~!

Walls, walls, walls!

103009 068Here is your weekly update!

The clubhouse building continues – here is a photo showing a couple of walls standing :) .  Please note: Since this photo was taken, they have erected even MORE walls, but the batteries in my camera died, (figures,  last day of the season and Halloween- and NO CAMERA!) .

Well, yesterday was a sad day here at the Village!  The last day of the season BOOOOO!!!.  Many of our owners were here, buttoning up their cottages.  Lots of hugs and well-wishes were passed out!  We’ve had a REMARKABLE 2009, and it is due to the great new friends that I have made here at Seaglass.  I feel truly blessed.  I hate to wish time away, but I can not WAIT until May 1st, when all of our current owners, and the new buyers are able to come back to the property.    There will be a GRAND OPENING for the pavilion building in early May, and I am starting the Grand Opening Party planning now.

Speaking of the pavilion building, on Friday I sent out the information packet to the interior decorators to get the ball rolling on the interior design.  I can’t WAIT to see what they come up with!  No doubt- it will be the Talk of the Town, and will be gorgeous!

The site traffic is beginning to slow down a bit, but we still got 2 new reservations this weekend!  The quantity of visitors may have dwindled, but the quality is still going strong!    As you may already know, we are closing down the Sales Office to walk in traffic effective November 15th at 4:00 pm for the season.  On the 16th of November, I’ve been instructed that the prices of cottages will be reviewed by the boss, and prices will likely be going up!  If you have been debating on whether to buy now, or wait until 2010, you can have the benefit of both, IF YOU RESERVE YOUR COTTAGE NOW!  With 10% downpayment before November 16th, you can enjoy 2009 prices, and close in 2010………..!

I hope everyone is well, and if you have any suggestions or comments on what I can post on this blog, please email me at blog@seaglassvillage.com.   I’d LOVE to hear your suggestions!

Have a great night!

Peace & Love to ALL    ♥
